Branson 2012-Summer-More happenings:
Kidsfest at
Silver Dollar City from June 9-July 22. Even if you don't have kids with you
this is a fun time. You might want to get a season pass because there are more
festivals to come during the Branson 2012 season. The season pass is a real
bargain if you can make it 2 or more times during the year. Coming right after
"Kidsfest" is Moonlight
Madness from July 21 to August 5 when the park opens till 10 PM each night.
The Southern
Gospel Picnic from August 24-September 3 finishes the summer season leading
us right into the activities for fall.
Summertime is a good time to visit the Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Theater,
ride the ZipRider from atop the Inspiration Tower or relax to the
famous Sons of the Pioneers at the
Pavilion Theater at the entrance to the Shepherd of the Hills Homestead.
A special summer event at the homestead, though is the Super Summer Cruise August 9-11. The
event features the Show n' Shine of over 500 cars & trucks at the historic
homestead. Highlighting the end of the event is the Midnight Super Summer Cruise Saturday night when the cars head down
the mountain to cruise along Shepherd of the Hills Expressway to the delight of
the thousands seated along the roadway. Don't forget to bring your lawn chairs
to this event.

Branson and the Ozarks love America so celebrating the

it's not just for the fun activities and fireworks that we celebrate. It is for
the principles and freedoms set forth and to honor "with a firm reliance
on the protection of divine Providence" this wonderful document.
